Another great song off Mark Mathis’ album Warship.
Album – Warship
I will see the place prepared for me
I will lay my head down on the glassy sea
And worship You in new realities
I will be grateful when I see Your hands and feet
Blessing and Honor, Glory and Power
Be unto You forever
I want to reach up and touch You
And tell You just how much I love You
I was the reason that You brought the curse to man
But You have removed it from me as far as east from the west
Sickness and death have no hold over me anymore
Cause I am alive, I am risen with Christ again
We are loved by You
And we love You too
You’re love is my life
I love this song! Mark was nice enough to post his music for people to listen to. Here is a link to buy it too….
Close to You
Open up this temple – day and night to You
Touch my lips with an ember – consecrate me in truth
Pick me up to Your Holy gates – cos I want to see you ,Lord
Set my eyes on your radiance – your Presence and your Goodness towards me
My eyes have seen Your Salvation – the Goodness of the Lord in the land of the living
You took that which was broken – and you carried me up to Your Holy Mountain
Let the rivers and seas resound – with a chorus of hope for the desperate nations
For what’s lost has now been found – and the destitute heart has found your favor
And we want to get closer – to be close
To be close to you
Oh, draw me and I will run – I will run
I will run to you
It’s a love song, yeah
One you can’t get out of your head
Oh we can be happy again, in His love
Arise, my love
Winter is over and gone
The time for dancing and singing has come
Mark Mathis gave me permission to stream some of his songs on here. I’m so excited! Mark and his band, Public Radio, have been a huge influence on me. I’ve had so many intimate times with God through his music. I listened to a lot of his early music during some really desperate times. I really think his album, Warship, will knock you out.
Check these lyrics out…..
My eyes have seen Your salvation. The goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. You took that which was broken and You carried me up to Your holy mountain.
Let the rivers and the seas resound with a chorus of hope for the desperate nations. For what’s lost has now been found because this destitute heart has found Your favor.
I should have a few songs posted in the next day or so.
