Matthew Reed emailed me about a new album by Vertical Church Band and let me preview some of the tracks.  This is the first album in a long time that I could listen to all the way through.  I really like the title track “Rock Won’t Move” it has a cool blend with a hymn.  You can go ahead an pre purchase it at the bottom of this page.

It releases October 29th, 2013.

I’ll post more as I dig into this album.

Please support these artists.

Obviously, it’s SUPER IMPORTANT for us to support the artists that connect us with the kingdom. So, if you like their music, buy it through iTunes. One thing is for sure, you can’t complain about there not being any music you like if you never support any artists. Buying one of these artist’s music is investing in people all over the world making intimate connections with God. 12 dollars very well spent. Fund the Kingdom…….Peace!

Spotify

I’m listening to Jonathan David Helser “Likeness of Jesus” right now.

Spotify is an program you can download to listen to any song in the world. It’s been available for years in Europe but has just now reached a deal with the record labels in the States. It is invite only right now but there are a few ways to get an account. I went to klout.com and signed up for a free account. After I signed up, I went to the “perks” tab in the top right corner of the page. Spotify is one of the perks of having a klout.com account. Clicking on the Spotify perk takes you to a page that gives you an invitation code. Go to spotify.com from there, enter the code and download the software. It’s incredible!! Every song you can imagine is right there to be listened to.

Now I’m listening to “God is Love” by Jonathan David Helser

I really think this is going to be a major new tool in my worshiping God. I know getting an account is a little complicated but give it a shot and post questions below if you can’t get it to work.
